The conference setting is the main amphitheater of the GAIA Center of the Goulandris Natural History Museum in the Kifissia suburb of Athens. It is found to the south – eastern side of Athens, in distance 33 km from the center. The airport is the terminal station of the Metro Line 3. This is also the starting point for buses that go to the centre of Athens and Piraeus. 

Kifissia is easily accessible from the "Eleftherios Venizelos" Athens International Airport via the Suburban Train Line and Metro Line 1 (download map) and from the center of Athens via the Metro Line 1.

Taxis are available at the designated Taxi waiting area located at Exit 3 of Arrivals Level. Indicative prices are approximately 35 Euro from the Airport to the Athens city centre as indicated in the Airport information site. Taxi services are regulated and the Taxi companies operate under permission.  According to the Greek Legislation, taxi drivers should provide a receipt for the amount paid for transportation services. Pre-booked taxis are available upon request.
